Cleaning out the washing machine
I came across this on pinterest a few months ago, I have been wanting to try on our washer.
It is only supposed to take a few hours to do all these steps but with life it took me about 2 days to get through all the loads but I figure mine just got a little extra soaking!! lol
I am really happy with the results and wanted to share it with you all.

The items needed are 2 cups of vinegar and 2 cups of bleach. Baily helped pour them into the washer and numa joined us commenting on how everything smelt yucky!!
After doing the loads of cleaning I did my first clothes washing load, I am very happy with how clean the washer looks and I think it is a good peace of mind that my washer has been cleaned out.
I also thought I would share this little tip we do at our house. This is a dry erase marker that I used to write on the washer lid. To remember clothes that are in the washer that I don't want to dry. Sometimes my husband will move the load into the dryer or lets be honest it is a day or so that goes by and I just can't remeber what is in the washing load. I love this simple little tip because then no matter who changes the load those items will be air dried. It wipes away easy with my hand or another dirty clothes item!
